Single Player

Pistols


Heckler & Koch Mark 23 SD

This is the Gabe's pistol, like Dark Mirror. Is used only by Gabe in the entire game, unlike the predecessor, that in the bonus mission "Zhou's Army" some enemies uses it.

Jericho 941

Like Dark MIrror the Jericho-41 is actually the Jericho 9 and have the fictional name Jerico. This time there isn't the "Flare Gun" seen in Dark Mirror, maybe removed due to censoring issues, that don't permits to burn enemies. In the North American version of Dark Mirror you can actually burn enemies and making enviromental kills. You can unlock the Jerico-41 obtaining the second Tactical Combat Specialist badge.

Fabrique Nationale Five seveN

Once again with the fictional name of SP-57 and an incorrect magazine capacity of 10 rounds. In Omega Strain was correct, 20 bullets. The unlock is the same as Dark Mirror: complete the first training beating the record time.

Makarov PM

Used in Episode 1 by St. Helens pirates from al-Jamil and Warsingala thugs. Can't be unlocked.

IMI Desert Eagle Mark XIX

Like the two previous games, the Desert Eagle appears in all of the three Action Express calibers: .357, .44 and .50. This time only the Silenced .44 can be unlocked and the .50AE version is a multiplayer exclusive weapon. The .357 is used by various enemies in Episode 6, the .44 is a player only variant and the only with a silencer.

All of the three can be dual wielded and have a scope. These are the only pistols with a scope and have always fictional names: Desert Eliminator .357, Silenced .44 and Desert Sniper .50. The Silenced. 44 is unlocked with the third Tactical Combat Specialist badge.

CZ 75 Auto

Called CZ Mach-9 in the game. Used in Episode 3, Part 1 and 2 by Spetsnaz. Can't be unlocked and can be dual wielded. Have the standard three fire modes of the game.

Intratec TEC-9

It's called TK-9, used by Spetsnaz in Episode 4. Like the Silenced M4 and the Silenced MDS the silenced version of the TEC-9 don't show the silencer.

Have always three fire modes, meanwhile the standard TEC-9 have only single shot and three round bursts. Can be unlocked obtaining the first Stealth Combat Specialist badge.

Sawed-Off Pistol

The Sawed-Off Pistol appears in Logan's Shadow as a sidearm weapon, then can be dual wielded. Unlike Omega Strain have a correct clip size oof two shells.

Unlike Dark Mirror the G-17 is a fully usable weapon outside of the multiplayer and can be dual wielded. Used by Spetsnaz in Episode 2, Part 2 and 3.

Ingram MAC -10

Military Armanent Corporation-10, still called MAK-10, appears only as the 9mm variant this time, as an auxiliary weapon, then can be dual wielded. Carried by Spetsnaz in Episode 2, Part 2 and 3.

SITES Spectre M4

Once again this rare weapon in games appear in Logan's Shadow. Can't be unlocked and is used by al-Jamil thugs in St. Helens levels.

Heckler & Koch MP5A3

This can be found in Episode 1, Part 1 and also used by Spetsnaz in Episode 2, Part 3. Can't be unlocked like Dark Mirror. Like a tradition the name of MP5s are fictional. From Omega Strain are called MDS.

This is the silenced version of MDS SMGs. As seen in Dark Mirror, the model don't show the silencer. Unlocked obtaining the second Stealth Combat Specialist badge.

Still have the fictional name UNP, a scope and an incorrect magazine capacity of 30 bullets. As the Dark Mirror version have also a vertical foregrip. As Dark Mirror can be unlocked completing the third training without wasting a shot.

As always is called SSP90. Is used by elite enemies in Bitar's Dam. Fortunately can be unlocked with the first Combat Sharp Shooter badge.

Benelli M1 Super 90

Can be found in Episode 1, Part 4, Episode 2, Part 3 and Episode 4, Part 1. Unlike Dark Mirror can't be unlocked.

The signature shotgun of the series, the USAS-12 appear also in the last installment of the series. As always is a full auto shotgun, making it very very deadly. Can be unlocked with the first Tactical Combat Specialist badge.

Another weapon from Dark Mirror can't be unlocked. Is used by Spetsnaz on the Episode 3, Part 2 and Episode 4, Part 3. Is still called Shot Defender.

Armsel Striker

Also in Logan Shadow is called Sweeper 12-gauge and can't unlocked. As the USAS-12 fires in full auto. Can be found in the Bitar's Dam. Is called Sweeper 12 in multiplayer.

Calico HE

This fictional variant is present also in Logan's Shadow. Still can't kill enemies with one shot. Unlockable obtaining the last Survival Specialist badge.

Pancor Jackhammer HE

Also the fictional HE variant of the Jackhammer appear. Can fire in a slow full auto mode as in Dark Mirror and is very very deadly unlike the Calico HE. Unlocked obtaining the last Tactical Combat Specialist badge.

Mk 153 Mod 0 SMAW

Some al-Jamil thugs and Spetsnaz rarely use this in some levels. It's also used by Maggie Powers versus the Spetsnaz Chopper, she is uses SMAW Anti-Tank, while the original SMAW presented only in multiplayer.

Milkor Multi Grenade Launcher (MGL) Mk

This weapon can be used only in the last bonus mission and can't be unlocked unlike Dark Mirror. Still have the same problem, six total grenades and only one per reload.

Galil AR

The AR can be used in Episode 1, Part 3 and 4. Can't be unlocked.

Colt M4A1

This weapon is seen in the front cover page of the game, hold by Gabriel Logan. The cover's version have a vertical foregrip and an ACOG scope. In the game it's the same M4 seen in Dark Mirror. Can be found in Episode 1, Part 1, 2, 4, and Episode 2, Part 2. It also used by Tank Driver, Army Ranger and Boomer in al-Jamil desert levels. Unlike its predecessor, can't be unlocked.

Also in Logan's Shadow there is a silnced version that not shows the silencer. It can be unlocked with the first Survival Specialist badge.

Norinco Type 56

Also here is called Chinese Type 56. It is a reproduction of the AK-47 with an increased magazine. It have 50 bullets instead of 30. Can be ulnlocked with the third Combat Knife Specialist badge.

FAMAS

FAMAS is equal on every aspect of the Dark Mirror counterpart, with two fire modes, single shot and 3 round burst and a correct magazine capacity of 25 bullets. The requirement to unlock is the same, beat the time of the second training.

AK-47

Unlike Dark Mirror, also the AK-47 can't be unlocked. Is used by Spetsnaz in Episode 3 and by al-Jamil thugs in Episode 5.

Steyr AUG HBAR

As Dark Mirror the Steyr AUG HBAR can't be unlocked and used by Spetsnaz in Episode 3, Part 3 and Episode 4, Part 2 and 3.

RPK

This weapon is used by Bitar's Dam guys in Episode 6, Part 1 and can't be unlocked as Dark Mirror. The RPK is an another reproduction of the AK-47, but as a light machine gun, not an assault rifle. Have a 40 bulltes magazine capacity.

Heckler & Koch G11

As always have the fictional name C11. As always have a sniper scope, a 50 bullets magazine and in the case of Dark Mirror, three fire modes: single shot, three round bursts and full auto. Can be unlocked with the second Combat Knife Specialist badge.

SKS

The SKS returns in Logan's Shadow, but can't be unlocked. Is used by resistance soldiers in Episode 3, Part 1 and by some enemies in last bonus level.

M16K

The M16K can't be never used in the singleplayer. Trinidad have this weapon in Episode 3, Part 2, it has also Maggie Powers in the Episode 4, Part 1 and 2. Default weapon in the multiplayer.

Over Under

This weapon is new to the Syphon Filter world. Is a M16 with a M203 grenade launcher. The M16 can fire only in 3 round bursts and the grenades explodes on the impact. Is the only weapon ever seen in Syphon Filter with a functional grenade launcher attached to the weapon. Can be unlocked with the second Combat Sharp Shooter badge.

SFLS Over Under Screen

Steyr Advanced Combat Rifle (ACR)

The Advanced Combat Rifle appears in Logan's Shadow, but can't be unlocked and is used seen in one mission. Used by Surgei Kudrenko in Episode 4, Part 3. It apparently recoils after firing every 3 rounds as though its firing mechanism was the same as the C11/G11.

SVD Dragunov

The SVD can be used in Episode 4, Part 2 when Maggie Powers helps Gabriel Logan to kill enemies impersonating her for this period of time. Is used also by Trinidad in "Lian First Time" and "Shadowed" bonus missions.

Barrett M82

The M82, called M82 BFG in game, maybe that suffix for a reference to DOOM, is the most powerful sniper rifle ever seen in Syphon Filter games. Fires .50 Caliber rounds and can kill with one bullet. Unlike Omega Strain have a correct magazine capacity of 10 rounds. Unlocked with the last Combat Sharp Shooter badge.

MB-150

The Gabe's special weapon returns in Logan's Shadow. Also here you can use the three type of darts of the previous game, explosive, X34 and E.D.T. and increase the max darts per type killing enemies with them. In Logan's Shadow the darts usage is a little bit more difficult, because unlike Dark Mirror that you can detonate the dart only when is attached to the enemy, now you can detonate darts also if them aren't already attached to the enemy, detonating in middle air, resulting a waste and a possible suicide if gas and explosive darts are detonated as soon the weapon shots.

Fabtique Nationale M249-E2 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW)

Once again this unlockable Dark Mirror weapon isn't unlockable in Logan's Shadow, but can be used in Episode 3 and Episode 5. Have a correct ammo amount of 200.

Dark Mirror multiplayer exclusive weapon now is available in Logan's Shadow in both modes, singleplayer and multiplayer. Can be found only in Episode 5, Part 3 and can't be unlocked.

M67 Fragmentation Grenade

These grenades have a delay of three second before to detonate. In Logan's Shadow the granade detection is better, now you can see an indicator like for the flashbang grenades and are red glowed. Unlocked obtaining the third Tactical Specialist Rating badge.

Model 7290T Flashbang Grenade

These grenades appears in the singleplayer of Logan's Shadow, unlike Dark Mirror that was an exclusive weapon of the multiplayer. Now that are usable in singleplayer, an indicator shows where the grenade is launched. Is featured in the fourth training, "Advanced Techniques". Can be unlocked with the first Combat Knife Specialist badge.

Smoke Grenade

These grenades appears in the singleplayer of Logan's Shadow, unlike Dark Mirror that was an exclusive weapon of the multiplayer. Can't be unlocked and appears only in Episode 6, Part 2.

Laser Mine

These appears in Episode 3 and Episode 6. As Dark Mirror you can disarm them to place them in every adact surface, killing enemies.

Composite 4

The C4 Explosives is used in Episode 1, Part 3 to destroy pirates boats, by Boomer in Episode 5, Part 2 and by Gabe in Episode 6, Part 1 to destroy 3 transformators.

E.D.T. / E.P.D.D.

The signature weapons of the franchise, once again appears as two variants: E.D.T., that is the basic model and E.P.D.D, the practically infinite range taser.

Fairbairn-Sykes

As always with the fictional name of K-BAR. In Logan's Shadow there is the possibly to use the weapon in a CQC style.

Paintball Guns


Paintball Gun

This "weapon" is used in the first two trainings. Is equal in every aspect to a Heckler & Kock Mark 23 SD, but shots paint instead of bullets. This is the only sidearm weapon that you can't dual wield.

Underwater Weapons


SG-10 Bolt Pistol

A pistol with an operating mechanism similar to the SG-75, but it fires single shots. However, it can be dual-wielded if the ability is unlocked. Can be used both on land and in water, but it functions best during submerged firefights. The player will automatically begin with it in Episode 2 Part 4 (Drowning), and can acquire extra rounds from enemies.

SG-75 Bolt Gun

This is an auxiliary weapon that acts like a SMG, but can be used underwater. Although it's also possible to fire it during regular combat on land, it is a horrid choice should the player have other weapons that discharge bullets (such as the UMP .45, the MDS A3, or the Spectre). It has three fire modes: single shot, three round bursts and full auto. Only seen in underwater levels in single-player. Enemies will have it as well, and the player can collect extra ammunition from them.

RD-9 Speargun

This is a back weapon that act as a single shot sniper rifle. As with the Bolt Gun it can be used outside of water, albeit it is a terrible option especially if the player has bullet-firing firearms (which is precisely what they can choose in the land-based missions where the RD-9 is available). As with a normal sniper rifle, its main disadvantage is the small magazine capacity, and thus, total capacity. However, it also has a scope for precision marksmanship. In single-player it is only seen in the underwater missions Episode 2 Part 1 (What Lies Below) and Episode 2 Part 4 (Drowning). A diver in Episode 6 Part 1 (The Long Descent) have this weapon, but can't be acquired.

Gadgets and Equipment


Infra Red Googles (IR)

In Logan's Shadow the IRs scopes like that on the Omega Strain's DSC-1 Thermal are no longer available, but players acquire the thermal googles. They operate exactly like the aforementioned DSC-1. In the case of enemies, these googles are very useful, because users can find them even when hiding.

Night Vision Googles (NV)

The alternative to the P.I.D.. Unlike Omega Strain, in Logan's Shadow you can have always these. They allow you to stealthily approach enemies from behind in pitch blackness, but an enemy shining a torchlight at a user will blind the NV-wearing individual for a few seconds.

Electronic Device Sensing Unity Googles (EDSU)

These fictional googles, as the name suggest, find metallic devices. These are also very useful for find hidden evidences. Every object that you can interact is highlighted in yellow.

Personal Illumination Device (PID)

In Logan's Shadow now the P.I.D. is almost useless, due to the always usable Night Vision googles.

Rapid Traversal Line (RTL)

In Logan's Shadow the Rapid Traversal Line (RTL) allows the player to make a two-way traversal over short distances.

Agency Zip Line (AZL)

In Logan's Shadow the Agency Zip Line (AZL) allows the player to make a one-way traversal over great distances. Can be seen in inventory only in Episode 1, Part 2, 3 and 4.

Hidden Evidence

Found in practically every level. In a level there are can be three, four or five of these evidences of the Logan's Shadow. If pick-upped all in an Episode you will unlock the locked files of that Episode. In some bonus levels these can be accuaired by completing specific action.

This is used in Episode 2, Part 2 to blast the metalic doors.

Anti-Personnel Mine

The Anti-Personnel mine is absolutely the same as in Dark Mirror and it is multiplayer exclusive weapon. The mine is slow to install and as said in the multiplayer training have stealth technology, so can be removed only with EDSU googles and only by the installer.

X34 Nerve Agent

X34 Nerve Agent is absolutely the same as in Dark Mirror and it is multiplayer exclusive weapon.

M61 Fragmentation Grenade

The M61 Frag Grenade is new to the Syphon Filter series and it is a better version of the M67, because explodes on the impact on the target without any delays.

Incendiary Grenade

First seen in Omega Strain, this grenade release fire when detonated, burning the enemy. This is the less effective grenade with killing purposes, because the fire can die down by rollling. It also has different model that Omega Strain version.

Bouncing Betty Mine is new to the Syphon Filter series. This is very deadly mine, maybe more than the AP mine. Before to detonate, raises incrementating the radious and damage.
